Mario At The Dining Room is the latest venture of Mario Alfieri, owner and chef at Mariosarti of Toowong. The Dining Room follows in Mariosarti’s footsteps with an emphasis on authentic Italian cuisine, generous portions and a warm, neighbourly atmosphere. The crab and prawn meat fettuccine is a favourite with those in the know, but Mario’s daily specials come highly recommended.

A true pioneer of Italian cuisine in Queensland.
Seasoned chef & restaurateur Mario Alfieri has been at the forefront of creative Italian cuisine for the past 30 years. The original owner of Nicolini’s on the Gold Coast, Mario relocated to Brisbane in 1992 and opened the award winning restaurant Mariosarti in Toowong.
Mario is old-school when it comes to service and hospitality, prowling the dining room to see that all are greeted like old friends and kept informed of the nightly specials.
