Close to authentic Chinese hotpot in a modern environment with reasonably good service. Huge selection of hotpot option with extensive customisation opportunities. Only downside is the price, it’s not competitively priced given the portion sizes and all the other dining opportunities in the area.

You come to a place like this purely for the dining experience. If you are an avid hot pot eater like myself, you’ll know that it’s all in the broth and the sauce. There is no hot pot place that will cater to these two key things like iPot does. I was taken by the condiments section to create your own sauce. This took up more room than the reception desk. It isn’t novelty, it’s absolutely necessary(at least now it is). The broth also comes in individual pots with a variety of flavors such as chilli base, mushroom or meat. Surprisingly, this did not take away from the communal feel that hot pot always brings out. The food items are on the pricier side, but I do believe you are paying for quality here. The meat and seafood is a lot fresher, and although some items were a bit questionable in price, the ambience makes it worth it. Thumbs up.

Have walked past this place many times, but have not had a chance to try it out until very recently, but seriously this is probably one of the best hotpots in Sydney in terms of ingredients and décor. The décor of this place is very modern — the hot pot stove is induction heating, and also has a sensor where you just remove your pot from the stove and it will switch off — handy when you don’t want to leave it boiling! Everyone has their own mini pot so each person can choose what soup they like — perfect for bringing along someone who is vegetarian and won’t appreciate dipping meat in their soup(or has different preferences). Very tasty. There is a wide range of soup bases with this, as well as a wide range of sauces, I personally recommend the sesame sauce with the spicy soup(esp if you love sichuan peppers! Not as pricey as people claimed, but still more expensive than other places in Chinatown — approx $ 40 per person for a group of 8, with Plenty of food to go around. But you’re paying for serious quality here. Seriously recommended for the hot pot lover. Fun fact — the name in chinese roughly translates to «(I) love hotpot»
