Chambers Fine Coffee & Wine Bar

Pretty good spot to have a coffee. I’m sure this place will be filled to the brim with university students given the proximity to UTS and close by university accommodation. If the weather is good, there are some outside tables right on a bustling corner in the middle of Haymarket.
The coffee is okay, nothing too special but certainly more than drinkable. The servers are friendly and happy to engage in conversation.

We were drawn in by the open French windows, staff were all smiles, ordered a friand which was unfortunately terrible, served cold from the back of the fridge and with a texture like plasticine but coffee was not bad, top third of the cup was foam, but once you get to it the brew is pleasant.
Weather was nippy so we took to the upstairs deck which became a wonderful bright sunlit space in the afternoon light. Heaps of outdoor seating if the day is warm. Interesting mix&match décor and a good track of upbeat tunes playing.

This coffee shop is right next to where I live, and I’m so glad it’s there :) Witnessed it getting built in the past month and once it finally opened, I was interested to go try it out. Décor is great, relaxing atmosphere, great service, and enjoyable coffee.
The first thing I noticed when I was standing in line to order my coffee is the friendly barista. She was smiling the whole time and took effort to have conversation with everyone in line.
I also loved the décor of the shop. Lots of open space, outdoor seating, and cozy upstair seatings. Lots of interesting arts and craft and décor. I loved my table sign (check out the photos :).
I only got to order the Vintage Vanilla Latte. It was standard price for its size ($ 4 for a regular cup of latte). Taste of vanilla is sweet and enjoyable. However the latte was too milky for my own personal taste. Overall it was good :) There were also a lot of tasty looking pastry and sandwiches. Will definitely try those out next time!
