I’ve tried to have a cut there, but the inability to make an appointment in advance, other than on day, is annoying for people who need to organise their time. I can’t sit around in a queue for ages either.

My husband was looking for a good barber in the area. We were recommended by another business that couldn’t fit him in for a haircut. A real shame as the service was terrible and the haircut even worse. The guy didn’t even introduce himself or ask my husband what he actually wanted. Just another to cool for school hipster doing bad haircuts– how boring.

The haircut was good but the service was soooo uncomfortable. I was trying to initiate friendly conversation but they kept shutting everything I said down with a real negativity. It was unpleasant and even occasionally a little insulting. That being said, I noticed other clients were talking with the barbers and were clearly regulars. Maybe they had a bad day. Sadly that’s all it takes to put a bad taste in new clients’ mouth. However if you’re after a quality haircut and you don’t need banter with the barber, you’re all set here.

I’ve been coming to this place for years now. It’s quite simple if it works for you. Call in the morning to get your name on the list. Here’s a tip: call early. They don’t take bookings except same day. It’s fun and casual. Everyone that works there is friendly and can do a good job. For the fancier blokes out there, you can get a straight razor shave. One day…
