Overpriced and bleh!!! very forgettable!!! Ordered the sashimi and sushi $ 36 for 21 pieces. It was robbery! had to order 2 other mains to suffice. Got the eek rice and teriyaki chicken. Both were average and meeeh! I don’t get how this place is competitive.

I had high expectations when I came here for dinner, but unfortunately left disappointed.
I was going to order the special lobster tail, but changed my mind when I was told it had no side dish as I was fairly hungry. I ended up going for the teriyaki chicken which I was happy enough with. Flavor was great! But the portion sizes…
If you are a student on a budget, or anyone on a budget for that case maybe look elsewhere. My friends ordered dishes for $ 18 – 20 that were the size of small appetizers. Granted they were delicious, but absolutely tiny. You’d have to spend $ 40+ to have enough food for a decent meal. My chicken teriyaki was the biggest meal we all ordered, but I was still hungry afterward.
The staff were very attentive, but I felt they were a little pushy with the bill.
The place has a great vibe and style, however for a place for a casual dinner, not at the top of my list.

My favourite Japanese ever.
To die for dishes: Terriyaki Chicken — the most tender, delicious chicken I’ve eaten.
The scallops, gimme gimme gimme. Smothered in a delicious mayo these go down a treat.
They do tend to rush you out quickly, give them specific instructions about your food order as everything tends to come out at once and it makes it difficult to enjoy the separate dishes in such a hurry.
Pricey, but totally worth it.

Tempura Prawn — 1^st time last Friday … only tried the Tempura Prawn entrée size as it was an impromptu lunch … got another lunch, so we’ll be back to try more and give a proper review.

This place is a gem! A nice semi industrial/​modern japanese interior space with attentive staff. The food is beautifully presented and arrives quickly. The soft shell crab and the daikon chips were particularly delicious. A good selection of sake also. Price very reasonable for both food and alcohol — particularly with the level of service and presentation of dishes.
