Just passed by and decided to have a quick lunch. Turned out to be my favorite little coffee shop/​restaurant that I’ve experienced while on my short visit in Melbourne. Highly recommend — everything was great.

A very cute little café that you can get a table at easily and get a delicious meal. My partner in crime and I have been here a couple of times.
The coffee is consistent and tasty, the meals are huge and do cater for the vegos (or part time in my case).
Meal highlights: Chilli eggs, Smashed avo. The breakfast bruchetta is massive and struggle to get through that.
A wonderful alternative if you want to avoid the mega cafes like Axil and the likes down the road.

A relative newcomer to the Melbourne brunch scene, Huck Fin is a surprising addition to Glenferrie Road’s Riversdale area.
The coffee is up there with Melbourne’s best and the menu will appeal to most appetites. I had the French Toast, which was good but could have used some maple syrup.
The décor is tasteful & appealing, staff friendly, food well priced and the location accessible. Win!
