Originating from the Japanese word for gift, Giftuo brings together the fun and excitement of premium novelty gadgets and unique quirky stationeries, gifts, homewares and kitchenwares for both kids and adults alike into one store.

Gifuto; some pronounce it as «gi-​fu-​to», others even say «give-​u-​to», yet it’s actually pronounced as «gift-​to». However you say it, our philosophy remains the same. We are an original store, firmly believing that it is better to give than to receive.

It’s an inherent part of our nature to give, and we give because we were once generously given.

What we offer is a gift of love. A gift to you. That’s Gifuto.

History

Established in 2012.

Gifuto started out with a passion to bring in a playful assembly of gifts, keepsakes, toys, gadgets, homewares and kitchenwares to young and old alike.

And so, in November 2012, the architect designed shop was opened to much fanfare to many enthusiastic customers who simply adored not just the edgy interior and design but most importantly, was offered a staple of the most prolific brands and products from around the world, who not only makes great gifts but also adds an interesting touch to any individuals collection.

Elaine has always possessed the interests to find quirky unusual stuff for herself, friends and home and kitchen. Thus, the birth of this edgy concept store was born, not just to satisfy her inner quest to buy but to be able to share her finds with like minded individuals who not only appreciate, but be able to own and give design-​centric and über cool products at affordable prices. Thats the spirit of giving.
