Had the Parma(Capricosa). Lucky we were here on a Wednesday night for Parma night. Good size, home made style fillet. Great crispy chips and a colourful salad with NIL tomatoes. Hence, didn’t eat the salad. We also had the grilled fish and chips. The fish was nicely cooked and the chips were very crispy. We liked the presentation of our food. The salad looked like effort had been put into instead of just the boring lettuce, tomato and onion.

A honest to goodness locals pub that has your stock standard footy /small tab and good meals downstairs and a nice upstairs outdoor area for those warmer months. Good meals, good beer, good footy. Happy days.

I was recommended this as a great pub for a Hawks fan to watch footy matches. Since the last game was to be hosted @ Launceston — and on foxtel only — myself and a friend went down to check out this venue and to watch a brilliant game of AFL. Hawks Vs North Melbourne! Walk in the door — the place was packed — an amazing atmosphere. However it was pretty packed so on helpful advise from the bar supervisor we went upstairs to check out the ‘deck’. It was delightful — nice chairs to sit at while I sipped my wine and smoked the occasional cigarette. The TV was a bit smaller however you could get the gist of the game… and buddy kicked 13 goals! We ordered Nachos which were pretty bland however the service was fantastic — ended up having a cheeky chat with what appeared to be the Supervisor on duty — what a charmer and overly helpful fella — an asset to the pub for sure. Overall I enjoyed this pub — it had a great bustling atmosphere and the service was great:)

Another great pub, convenient as it’s next door to my physio :) Cold beer and typical pub fare — I usually go for Parma day(Wednesday) however have tried other dishes on the menu and they’re also pretty damn fine.
