Hamilton Bowls Club

My home away from home! I was fortunate enough to live right across the road from this little beauty in 2004. I spent an enormous amount of time here eating delicious food and drinking loads of cheap beer. It hasn’t changed a bit and my husband and I try to get to the ol’ bowlo at least once a month.
The bistro offers a range of meals but the best by far is the seafood platter which is served only on Friday and Saturday nights. The seafood platter for two is enormous and I guarantee you two people cannot finish it! A seafood lover’s delight this platter is loaded with fresh mouth-​watering seafood (including Moreton Bay bugs, prawns, sand crabs and oysters), golden pieces of fried calamari, crumbed fish, prawn cutlets, crispy hot chips and garden salad.
On Sunday’s you can enjoy a game of barefoot bowls on the green with friends and on Friday nights they run regular raffles. The club is pretty old school but I believe there will be some renovations in the New Year. There is usually live music on weekends and the club caters for all types of functions.
