Looooove this place! Went for lunch today about 1230 with a friend great atmosphere — I got two veggie tacos, $ 5 each which were great all fresh ingredients & friend got the veggie nachos — and a side of fries both loved our food! Make sure you get there early to get a table as it gets super busy and sometime you gotta wait at the bar or come back if there’s no tables free. But fast friendly service. Only one net. is if it’s hot remember there’s no air conditioning down near the booths so grab a seat on the tables down front for some fresh air as the open all side the doors :)

The food is tasty, fresh and not cheese laden like other ‘Mexican’ restaurants in Adelaide, and $ 3 taco Tuesdays are quite a draw. But I’ve had really bad experiences with condescending and arrogant service, from floor staff and management alike. Whilst the food and location are good, I would prefer to spend my money elsewhere.

Been here twice and both times the wait has been extortionate for nachos and pre-bought burrito wraps. Their up-selling also sucks. Had I know the size of one burrito was tiny, I would have ordered more but after a forty minute wait for the first, I’m over it. Addendum: have been back since and despite thinking outside the square and sharing seats with other customers where we otherwise would have been told that there is no room, the service was much better. They were packed but still managed to get the food out within twenty minutes so immediately more impressed. I should also state that not once has a staff member been outwardly rude — a tad neglectful once or twice but otherwise, friendly and upbeat.

We were immediately greeted by a smiling face behind the counter as soon as we walked in. They were very helpful with the menu. The venue was two levels, and is fully licensed — with a decent list of cocktails. We placed our order at the bar and within a few minutes our order came out. We ordered two burrito bowls — Flying Pig Burrito and the Pulled Pork Burrito. Both were delicious and our plates were left empty. I tried both and I couldn’t pick a favourite. It was a little quiet when we were there(Sunday afternoon) and the staff were very chatty and friendly. As a Perth local, I’m hoping BBC make the trip west and open up a store over here soon!

I really wanted to like this place. Cool atmosphere, a bit quirky. Fun menu. However I’ve tried the food twice and both occasions left disappointed. Food isn’t all the flavoursome and on both visits tacos have been ‘wet’ from sloppy fillings. Won’t rush back.

If i had to describe myself in three words, two of them would be «mexican food». Me oh my, how i love mexican food! This love was cemented when i travelled to the USA and Dominican Republic last year and tasted more authentic dishes at a variety of eateries, particulary throughout California. Anyway the point of this is that the food at Beach Burrito Co. reminded me of the freshness of these dishes — definitely not your standard-run-of-the-mill-greasy burritos. BBC was fresh and flavoursome. Yum! We had the grilled fish salads and the serves were generous, delicious, just the righr amount of spicy and served very quickly. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu. The vibe of BBC is nice, but casual. The interior is industrial, has two storeys and a full bar(including coconut tequila! Oh yeah!) We sat on the balcony — it was a bit dark but we weren’t fussed. I think next time we might plan ahead and book a table inside. A great place for a group dinner for sure!

Nacho, nacho man! I want to be a nacho man! Well, nacho woman… Ever since that episode of the Simpsons I have wanted to have a nacho hat. Although there is no Nacho Hat at Beach Burrito, they do make awesome tortilla baskets for burritos and salads. They are so cool. You could totally tip out the contents and wear it as a hat! Hmmmm… Anyway, back to review. I had the pleasure of dining at Beach Burrito with some friends last night and it was a great experience. The food and beverage are really well priced for the quality. We ordered some vego nachos and smoked chicken quesadillas. The Nachos where served in a cool red plastic basket with cooking paper. Really take out diner style. It was a very easy meal to share. However, you really need some cutlery to get to all the cheese bits. There is an awesome amount of topping on the corn chips. It is served with beans, freshly cut tomato salsa, sour cream and guacamole. The guacamole served with it was a great portion and really flavoursome. The quesadilla was cheesy and there was a hint of smokiness in the chicken. This was also served with sour cream, fresh tomato salsa, guacamole and a couple of corn chips. This addition was unexpected and a nice surprise. As for the beverage, well of course we ordered the Sangria! That is just natural for a bunch of foodies when you see that on the menu. What I love about Beach Burrito is that they serve all their jug cocktails with cups lined with salt or sugar. The cups were also full of ice and cut up apple and orange. I can tell you, it is so much more enjoyable served that way! After some discussion with my fellow diners, we decided that this Sangria is top notch. So there you have it, order the Sangria! Overall, staff where very polite and helpful. The service was actually very fast considering how busy they were for a Wednesday afternoon. Love it, and will return to sample the many other jug cocktails on offer!

Good, not great. To start with, saw one of the vego options was tofu– awesome. But then, no ciders at all! And Pepsi products… Food came out fast & jalapeño poppers were quite tasty. My enchiladas were ok, needed more flavour & spices. But the toilets were foul, worst I’ve ever seen outside of a pub.

Wow what a banger of a joint, two storeys and my only gripe would be the lack of seating if you have a furbaby, lucky for us that night we were free from her demanding paws. Ordering some beers and nachos service was great but here I am channeling Manu all I can say is it needs more sauce! And cheese! But still so fantastic, can’t wait to go back

Delicious fresh ingredients. Decent portion sizes. Really cool atmosphere and setting. My only gripe is the nachos needed more kick! Maybe some more jalapeños or salsa. Will definitely be back to work my way through a few more menu items.

I have been to Beach Burrito twice now, hoping for amazing things. Both times were on a Sunday and it was absolutely packed! The décor is very cool, very nice, lots of high tables, huge wicker baskets as lampshades, lots of indoor plants, huge open windows, balconies, lots of cute pictures on the walls. BUT. The service was slow. We were told to expect a 30 minute wait because they were busy but we ended up having to wait for an hour. At the 45 minute wait, I asked if they could check up on our order for us. The waitress who helped us was very apologetic and brought me a free can of lemonade(a bit of an odd choice?). What was really weird though was that they brought out a large chilli fries and said they were complimentary because of the wait. But we ordered a large chilli fries! They never brought out a second order of them so we aren’t sure what happened there. The food was very fresh, and quite authentic for Adelaide. It’s different from Lucky Lupitas, more tex-mex than South American but almost on the same par as far as quality of ingredients & freshness. Definitely the best out of the Mexican options at Glenelg!

Who doesn’t love Mexican food? I happened to stumble across this place and glad I did. The food is about the same as what you’d get at Lucky Lupitas but without the line up. The sangria was really nice, but wish I had more of it. I shared a chicken burrito and corn chips with guac and salsa. Yum! The menu has everything from nachos to chimichangas, quesadillas, burritos, and even salads and churros for dessert! The décor is kind of urban with hanging lights and plastic plants. Plenty of seating. Good service. So next time your at Glenelg hanging with mates come here :-)

Beach Burrito Glenelg has only been open for 2 days, but obviously word got around, it was packed! The place is situated over 2 levels and has a funky beach vibe. There’s casual seating at the front and booths up the back. The menu is extensive. Traditionalists should love the menu as it seems like proper authentic mexican food. Our meals were delicious and the sizing was generous. I couldn’t finish mine. I love mexican food but absolutely despise coriander. It’s in almost every single dish on the menu, but I was able to successfully eat around it. My husband and daughter both loved their meals. Customer service was brilliant, they were super friendly and helpful. Only slight criticism is that they only own 2 highchairs. Both were being used so my daughter had to spend half the meal sitting on her dad’s lap. But they were really good about it and said they’d bring the chair over as soon as it was available. The prices are a bit high for what it is, but you can’t fault the flavour. We’ll definitely be back.
