YOMG Yo My Goodness

This is my go-​to place when I’m after a soft shell crab burger! It comes in a black bun with slaw. I’ve tried their other beef burgers — kingsway and a jalapeño one and they’re pretty good too. It can get quite busy, so be prepared to wait for a table and food. Matcha shakes and matcha froyo is also great if you can manage it after your burger. For $ 5 — you can have a go at filling as much froyo, different flavour and toppings as you can on a waffle cone.

Came in here to try the froyo; a bit disappointing as it lacked flavour. The vibe is definitely rocking with their friendly staff members keeping it real!

2^nd time at Yomg+
A very edgy food joint with well trained staff. Went on a Friday night around 9, obviously a very popular spot as there was a line almost out the door to be served but the wait was minimal which was very impressive.
The burger was great exactly what I was craving, the nacho fries were as expected but the chicken fries were a little too thin for that price but overall a very pleasant experience! Can’t wait for next time.

Burgers were fine, not spectacular (maybe it was the thick heavy bun that put me off), we tried the Yo My With Cheese and The Kingsway. The chips were pretty good, they come with a crispy chicken salted coating, and the milkshakes were also good. We went for lunch on a weekend and the place was packed inside and out. It almost seems a shame that the somewhat neglected fro-​yo bar at the back takes up so much room when they could have more tables for all the burger eating peeps. Service was pretty quick considering they were slammed. The specials board had some interesting options, like soft shell crab on a black bun, if you like that sort of thing. Worth considering if you are in the area.

Soft fluffy buttery bun with a moist beef pattie and a good amount of sauce inside. If you want to compare this bun, i would put it up there with shake shack. I also tried the peanut butter & salted caramel milkshake. At first taste it was so good but after awhile it got too sweet and sickening. Overall a very good meal and it satisfied my shake shack cravings

It has been on my foodie bucket list for a while now. It definitely did not disappoint. Best milkshakes I have ever had, burger and fries are just like an American diner. Can’t wait to go back and slowly try the rest of the menu.

The BergerK tastes OK, with good mildly spicy sauce, but overpriced for the tiny size. I rather have a much cheaper and almost as tasty grilled chicken burger from Hungry Jacks.

Twice cooked southern fried hot wings: ⁴⁄₅ –first cooked in sweet chilli, then again with southern style + smothered in sauce and chilli, these wings made me drool but for $ 10 bucks a pop I don’t think I could get them everyday.
Raspberry shortcake deluxe shake: ⁵⁄₅ — why is the cup so small… for the $ 7.5 price tag I wish it was a little bigger but hey I ended up licking the lid. I’ll be back for this!
Yo My Goodness burger: ³⁄₅ — Pretty mediocre burger, I was expecting it to be juicier or for the bun to be toasted or sweet like a brioche bun but it was pretty plain. For $ 9 (without sides or drink), I wouldn’t get this burger again but perhaps next time i’ll try a different flavour. The burger could have been improved by toasting the buttery bun more or having more sweet onion relish on there.
Atmosphere: ³⁄₅ — This place has tables all along the side with an open kitchen however there is not much ventilation. You will most likely walk out with greasy hair feeling but the staff are fairly friendly and efficient. This place also serves frozen yoghurt which I did not have any space for so that will have to wait till my next visit.
