I hadn’t been here since my days in uni and had totally forgotten that it existed. The problem is that the restaurant isn’t on the main food strip in Glen Waverley and so is often left out of patron’s choices. I highly recommend trying Taipei Delight out as it offers quick, cheap Taiwanese dishes and their milk tea is amazing. I am yet to find a place that makes milk tea to this level of taste and I think this will become a regular drink place for me. Just note that it is cash only here.

This place looks really plain and a bit dinky BUT the best part of this place so far is the reasonably priced taro milk tea that I got for $ 3 which tasted EXACTLY like the one from Taiwan. Will be trying their food next.

This little lavender coloured shop specializes in Taiwan cuisine. It is small and mostly quite so it’s very easy to just pop in and go straight to a seat. They offer good homely food that is tasty and at a good price. They have many entrée/snack items that are great for sharing. The food is simple, served without any fancy things on the side that complicate the meal. You get what you want, and it always hits the spot. I recommend their beef noodle soup(ask for it spicy), its great comfort food. Another good one for sharing is the spring onion pancake. This isn’t a place you go to except a ‘nice’ restaurant style meal, its more of a quick feed type of place. There are always locals here eating, alone or in a group. If you want to try something out of the ordinary Chinese food, I would recommend going here, the prices are good and the food is tasty.
