This place serves mostly soups. It also does a couple of meals that aren’t soup, including a chicken roll I hear is very good, prawn cold rolls, spring rolls and salad, and two meat dishes. I had the sautéed beef, which turned out to be a semi-soup, but less broth than the actual soups. The meat was hot and very flavoursome, with lemongrass as a prominent flavor. It came with cold salad in the bowl, and quite a large bowl for $ 9, and the salad was dressed with an Asian flavored dressing. There was a large quantity of vermicelli at the bottom of the bowl. The meal had a good balance of sweet, sour, salty and spicy. The fish sauce was used in the perfect quantity, as too much can be overpowering. There were various condiments and some lemon wedges that customers could add to their dishes. It was a filling meal without being at all heavy. Delicious! I will definitely be back.

This is quite a new place tucked away in the Gepps X Home Maker Centre. Always being one to try something new I thought I’d give it a try. The first thing I look for are Asian clientele, and this place does not disappoint. If Asian people are eating at an Asian restaurant then you know it’s good. The other thing you know is that the food is probably authentic. This may put some people off. Wok ‘n Noodles is a REAL Vietnamese restaurant, so they don’t pander to the public. If you want real Vietnamese food however then this is the place to go. I tried one of their Vietnamese rolls and found it to be wonderful. There was ample meat inside and the flavours were amazing. They’re also well priced There is a Subway just a few doors down yes, but for less you could get a Vietnamese roll after a visit to Harvey Norman or JB Hifi. I don’t know about you, but I’m all for saving money while eating quality food!
