Specialties
X-Wray has always been known for it’s eclectic personality, the friendly community atmosphere, and it’s amazing breakfasts, lunch and coffees but recently their cocktail hour and dinner menus are sharing in the spotlight. A wine list that caters to all tastes and budgets, a cocktail menu that you can easily work your way through, and the always changing beer selection give you plenty of options. Top that off with dinner specials 7 nights a week, Happy Hour on the weekdays, and live music most nights, the X-Wray experience will keep you satisfied and coming back for more.
History
Established in 2006.
About 15 years ago the Wray Café and Bookshop was quiet little breakfast and lunch spot on Wray Avenue in Fremantle. A place for amazing coffee, a little bit of attitude, a diverse bookshop, and some delicious homemade cakes! Well… then «the man» came in and raised the rent — so Greg and Sue Leaver set out to find a different, bigger, and better venue. They stumbled upon this off-the-beaten-Freo-track building and 6 years ago the X-Wray (get it now?) was born. After undergoing some growing pains and a few awkward personality changes we are finally comfortable and confident in our food, our booze, our staff, and most importantly… the coffee is even better.
