This a great little store, selling a wide range of different foods, from coffee and tea to chocolate and other sweet goods. They sell the T2 range which after the one in the city opened isn’t as exciting as it was. They have some really cute bits and bobs, some things that could be found in a little store in Leederville or something. They have some delicious chocolates, from all over the globe. num num num. They also sell these really great gift packs, full of this people will actually use, thinking of buying my Mum one for her birthday!

I stumbled upon Barker and Hale in Floreat by accident when visiting the Floreat Festival of Food. I had been to their Cottesloe store awhile back and didn’t realise they had another store. Barker and Hale is a food lover’s paradise. They have a huge range of gourmet food. There is a big selection of T2 teas and fresh coffee. For my fellow Aussies that have spent time in Europe and got a taste for real chocolate, they have lots of imported European chocolate to keep you happy. Their baked goods are also yummy. Have a foodie in your life, but not sure what to get them? This place does awesome hampers to impres. s

Thank You Nadine! I came here in search of the Mozart Balls. When I was 17(many moons ago) I traveled through Austria and Germany and discovered these marzipan balls of delight. I haven’t found them since and nearly coughed up my breakfast when I read about Barker and Hale. Wuhooooooo. Nostalgia in a ball. It turns out that they have an aladdin’s cave of people’s nostalgia. Things that you wont find anywhere else and haven’t seen for a long time. I’m not sure how they do it but they must have created a time warp in Floreat Forum.

Barker & Hale could be a little delicatessen shop in France, Italy or Germany, with its immaculate layout(which is so appealing you will want to buy everything in this store), bountiful local and international produce(of very high quality) and its lovely selection of home wares and thoughtful gifts. I was over the moon when I saw Mozartkugel(literally Mozart Balls) they are the most delicious treats; marzipan covered in a thin layer of nougat then coated with dark chocolate, oh it makes me reminisce the days when I was an eleven year old and would go to Germany and eat many Mozart Balls! I think this is the experience Barker & Hale want to give their customers; produce that evoke certain memories or will give new experiences, I personally am a fan and if you want anything of quality which is difficult to find elsewhere Baker & Hale will surely have it. This is the perfect place to either spoil yourself or someone special.
