Terrible service. foods average. meh so much potential. But just so disappointing good for a beer. $ 13 per pint. Could just go somewhere else for beer and get ambience too!

Extremely underwhelmed by my first encounter with this place. The staff are not particularly attentive and if you want to drink any of their craft beers you ate relegated to 1 communal table in the front, a wall-bench and able in the back or outside(which are rare as rocking horse shit to get). Basically unless you plan to eat you are not welcome. It does look fantastic though.

Four stars for breakfast. Loved the space, staff greeted us on arrival and made us feel welcome with some chit chat. Coffee was good and the food came in a timely manner. The bacon was a highlight, sliced not too thin that it gets too crispy, and not in the«popular now» slab style which I don’t like. It was cooked with crispy edges and soft centres, what I called perfect.(And it’s free range of course). Hoping to come back again to shop and to have dinner. The cheese counter looked very inviting. And then there is upstairs produce shop. I’m hoping these guys will satisfy my local shopping needs.

Wow, really wanted to like this place but what a sucky intro :(the décor is epic and there’s a great atmosphere. It all started with ordering some delicious pots of beer, one of the glasses had a considerable crack in it which we asked to get replaced. We ordered some lamb ribs(five) which were on the other side of crispy aka burnt, there was barely any meat on them and for $ 20 seemed steep. An iceberg salad was ordered as a side, wasn’t bad but yeah the vinaigrette was a tad boring. A pizza was ordered to which took 20 – 30 minutes after our other food :(. When we asked the waiter to check on our meal they came back mentioning it’s coming and offered us complimentary bread and evoo. Seemed nice tho we realised they forgot to give us this complimentary bread to start the night. So the pizza eventually arrived. an ok margherita. Despite the averageness we thought we’d roll the dice and let a chocolate tart give us amnesia. Sad to say the chocolate tart took ages to which we had to check up with the staff where it was. They returned saying it’ll take a few more minutes and provided us with two child scoops of ricotta ice cream hahah. Must’ve waited an extra 30 for the tart. To which it arrived with quite the average looking quenelle. When we sinked our forks into the tart we were greeted with a very hard crust to which was burnt too. Ended up paying $ 85 for two. I guess for now the place has teething issues being new. Or maybe we needed to get more boozy with their craft beer to not notice. Hope to return in future to a better experience.
