I dream about being able to afford the clothes in here. Assin stocks the left overs from fashion powerhouses including a great range of European fashion.
While there doesn’t seem much left you can always rummage through and find a jacket or top that catches your eye — but then you notice the price tag. Assin drops the price down from ludicrous to affordable (that is, if you are on a decent income).
One day, when I’m not a student I’ll head back here. Most of the wares are half price and drop down from the thousands to the hundreds.

The service seems efficient but not overly friendly. The sales assistants must get pretty tired of watching people come in with hope in their eyes, stare at the price tag and wander out sadly. Yes we are annoying, but c’mon guys — be polite!

I’m not sure why I ever go into stores like Assin. These boutique fashion stores are full of the most stunning wearables I can imagine, and looking at them up close and personal and touching them makes them all the more desirable, which is ultimately depressing because there is no way I can afford an $ 800 skirt.
Still, I guess the fact that these fine threads by world renowned designers like Ann Demeulemeester are worn around Melbourne means that I might be lucky enough to brush past a Gertrude gentry wearing something fabulous from Assin, making me feel a sick, Wuthering Heights type of longing.

Oh dear. A boutique with labels that aren’t at every other shop. Imported, unknown foreign labels. Great fashion and crazy prices. This place is my kryptonite. (and I suppose that’s mostly because they carry Dior Homme)
If you shop, and always like some cutting edge style. The kind that you can’t find except online from some faraway place, this shop will suit your needs, and you can try the stuff on instead of just clicking ‘order now’.
