I have driven passed this ice cream shop never realising it was there as it is set back from the road, part of a small shopping complex. It wasn’t until a friend drove me to his favourite shop that I got to try the great selection. The guys Adam and Joe took over from the original owners and cakes are made specially by Marissa. On this visit I tried only the ice cream and gelato. It was very tasty and will have to work through all of them to find my favourite. There are not many tables inside and it is a very casual setting. What I did notice was the large number of people coming through the door for a takeaway ice cream. I’ll be back.

Good God the gelati is sweet here! It’s like getting punched in the face by a cold and delicious fist! Tasty as hell yes, but I believe that this sweet tooth had met her match. This store has only been open for a week, and we were very eager to dive into that fridge of promise. We tried the blood orange, which was called something else I can’t spell, Watermelon, Snickers, Cookies and Cream, and Fig. Fig especially, was so darn delicious, but the flavour was super strong, and I just could not finish it. My daughter ate a pile of Cookies and Cream and Snicker’s the size of her head with no trouble, so perhaps I am just a gelati wuss. The staff were lovely and encouraged us to hang out and try everything, and at $ 3.00 for a small cup, it’s pretty cheap too. Get in there and try the new Gelati peeps in town. PS they do cakes too.
