We went last Sunday for breakfast around 2.30 as we have to rework our schedule due to our little one. It was rainy day so we thought hanging out here would be nice as they have indoor play area too. Upon arrrival we were told that the kitchen is closed but the chef upon request managed to cook up a meal just for us after he was packed up and ready to go. We truly appreciated their effort and to top it up the food was absolutely amazing. Made our day. Thank you. Plus the best soy chai in town.

The Place is a recently revamped café opposite Fairfield station. When we arrived for breakfast there were only a couple of occupied tables, perhaps they’re busier for lunch. The service was friendly & prompt with our cappuccino’s arriving in no time at all. Coffee was lovely, smooth & creamy. Sadly, my wholegrain pancakes weren’t that great, they really should have a larger serving of berries on top. So without enough berries, I ended up leaving half my uneaten pancakes on my plate!

Not on the main strip at Fairfield but just tucked around the corner opposite the railway station. Open and airey with a place for kids. Good menu and counter selections. Specials of the day on the board. Staff are friendly and attentive. Had a lovely meal and the slaw was to die for. Worth hunting down and a great neighborhood place. Would recommend and will go there again.
