Slinky is a hidden gem. It can be hard to find if you drive past, but once you find it, you will certainly be impressed. This is my go to local café for a great coffee and the best Bacon and Egg Turkish in Brisbane. I tend to take away most times but there is plenty of seats inside and outside.

We go here quite a bit on the weekend. They always have fast service. There is parking available. Space indoors and out. Dog friendly. Sit on a tall bench or at tables. They sell Keep Cups and a few other coffee paraphenalia. Food — we like the mince, and the zucc fritters. We’ve also had a go at the french toast(weekend only) but while it is nice bread, it’s a tad dry. We’d love if they drizzled something more on it — fruity or berry purée? I think they also had a brest once and omg that was gorgeous. I really like the space inside, it feels clean comfortable and still private enough though it is small. They are on the eCoffeeCard system too. Bucket of toys in the corner.

Dang nab it! Why don’t I live closer to this great little café? I was driving through when I hit the coffee coffee shakes(addiction is a problem people, don’t judge me) and the cute name and mural drew me in. Across from the park, the coffee is great and the food is priced like it’s still 1999. Plus it’s great. If you’re in the neighbourhood, or better yet it IS your neighbourhood, you really need to drop in. You’ll stay for quite a while I promise.
