Gurney’S Car Centre

Gurney’s is a pretty decent sized car yard with some nice looking vehicles. I ventured down this way as I had heard good things., and as I was looking for a new car I had to check out all my options.
Keep in mind, I knew exactly what type of car I wanted and I knew the price I was looking to spend. I’d done my research so I knew it was an achievable goal. I noticed some of the prices at Gurney’s were a little above and beyond some of the other yards around the area. I figure in this sort of place you’re expected to haggle though.
The salesman (who I believe was also the owner) came up to me and after the usual pleasantries asked me what I was looking for. I told him, and I got laughed at and told that I would be hard pressed to find what I wanted at that price. All I could think was «maybe in THIS car yard» but I kept my mouth shut and politely left after he showed me cars that he felt were «more in my price range».
I went down the road to Jarvis Ford, got the car I wanted at the price I wanted and haven’t looked back.
