Great outdoor dining area. Chai tasted like warm milk, however, so won’t be ordering that again. Not fond of them letting people smoke out there — ruins it for everyone who doesn’t smoke :(Menu looks tasty. I’m on the fence.

Fairly average kind of place. Nothing that screams amazing, but not a bad spot if in the area.

Got a take-away flat white from here this arvo. I loved the feel of the place as soon as I stepped in the door. The barrister was really friendly and the coffee was quite enjoyable. I’ve definitely got to come back here for a meal though.

Sure, this place could use some improvement, but it’s all around a nice place to go. If you’re looking for the best dinner on lackluster Glen Huntly, don’t expect to find it here. But it’s a wonderful place to just get some coffee with friends or a quick bite to eat before a movie at the Classic. The best is sitting on their new patio on a warm day drinking a beer and eating some of their delicious fries.

Removed from the conjecture; I actually had warm feelings about this place upon passing. In and around the immediate area, there really isn’t much else aside from Milky’s. Yes it’s true Gelenhuntly road is all so same-y and un changing, but hopefully this will prove a catalyst to engage change in most of the dull and dour non descript café’s of the area. For Goat house itself, it has an odd but appealing name, and it’s good to see that great quality coffee isn’t confined to the inner city suburbs and cbd. Food isn’t cheap, but I should go back to try more of it. At more times too. The small bites/snacks section is quite good. All of your favourite specialty coffee’s are available, and as far as places go, this provides not too bad a window on the world. The space and set up are good inside and out, and it has a good feel to it.

This is a standard for me when not sure what to eat on this street. Great feel, great layout and a good menu. Plus an impressive drinks menu. Always friendly service

There’s something so infinitely depressing about Glenhuntly Road. I feel like it’s the place where cafes, or any business for that matter, go to die. The street itself is awfully dreary, so I was pretty excited to see a coffee roastery opening near some of Glenhuntly Road’s other saving graces. Sadly it didn’t live up to expectations, but maybe that’s because I was expecting it to be much like other coffee roasters — industrial, fierce, edgy, youthful. Instead this place is just as crowded with oldies as the next sad little café. The décor is uninspired, much like the menu. The food was okay, nothing outstanding and nothing devastatingly offensive. The portions are pretty decent, and your buck will go a long way. I’m probably being too hard on this place, I had just hoped it signaled the beginnings of a new Glenhuntly Road. If you’re looking for a place to eat specifically on Glenhuntly road, however, this is probably your best bet.

I have always avoided eating at this place. I normally follow my nose when I make decisions on where to eat but today I did not. The Goat House has a lot of positive aspects for example it is set in beautiful surrounds with a nice park to look at out the window, the interior design is very modern and you can see that it is a place to visit on a number of occasions whether it be breakfast, lunch, diner, a function or just to have a drink at the bar. Unfortunately these positive aspects can be overlooked by the little things that can be easily fixed. I have herd of a few examples but with my experience the pizza that I ordered seemed as if the pizza base was purchased from the supermarket. I would have been more than happy to be told that there is no more dough left and would have ordered some poached eggs which were perfectly cooked on my brother plate. I might give them another shot in a month or so.
