If you have been looking for an affordable shisha bar that actually served good quality shisha around Melbourne CBD like I had, look no more. This place provides a lot of shisha flavours, the shisha quality is great and customer service is excellent. The shisha price varies but it’s only around $ 30 for a big hookah and we were greeted by a very nice and friendly staff at the bar. We never had to ask for a coal change because the waiter was always ready to change it. Definitely come back again.

Wow! This is the best meal I have had in a long time. I highly recommend this place. Food was beautiful and the fresh flavors made it even better. The service is great and the setting of the restaurant is beautiful. I highly recommend the meat cigars for entrée. Price is ok, $ 117.00 for 2 people entrée main and wine. Over all I can’t wait to go back.

Great food. Usually a great place to eat but tonight there was a big function on and it is so loud in here it’s hard to think. Best to check if there is a big function on when booking.

Middle Eastern food is one of my favourite cuisines, so you can imagine my horror in discovering that one of my favourite Middle Eastern restaurants had been taken over my new mangers! Okay, okay, so it’s not that big a deal. Still, I had a few minutes of heart-break. I revisited the place, both hesitant and terrified that the menu had changed or the flavours had disappeared. Luckily it’s still the same beauty, offering a great range of traditional plates. Arabesque isn’t a romantic or cool place. It’s the place you go to on a Sunday night with family, ready to share food and grow that little bit closer(unless you’re a family quite uncomfortable with sharing food, in which case the family ties can actually be compromised). You also want to go with family because that way when the bill comes you can kindly pass it on to someone with more money — it’s a pretty expensive place for what it is. Let’s hope the new managers continue to stick to old classics.
