We originally came here when we first got an entertainment book as it had a buy one get one free deal. Thank god for the entertainment book as we have been back many times. I like it here because it is casual, family friendly and generally good service. There is an all you can eat salad and veg bar, which is what I generally order by itself as there is so much to eat on there. They have roast veggies, veggie bakes, cauliflower cheese etc on the hot side and on the salad side lots of different salad choices. The menu is decent ‘pub grub’ at reasonable prices. On certain days they do a cheap carvery meal and they also have things like schnitzel night etc. Service can be up and down depending on who you get but I have never in my life been to a faster restaurant, if you are looking for a long dinner this is not the place for you. We love it as Boo tends to get restless waiting at tables. You do have to go to the bar to order and pay, and also buy drinks and carry them to your table yourself which is not an issue for us. Kids meals get a free kiddy pack, and they were even so kind last time we went to give Boo a pack even though she was sharing my meal. It had crayons and lots of activity pages in it which she played with for ages and was a god send. I really appreciate the little things. They also have some computer games which kept the nephew entertained while we waited. Only once have I been disappointed here when I ordered the vegetarian pasta and it was so sugary. I don’t know what had happened but I was pregnant and hormonal and I actually cried because I couldn’t eat it because it was just SO sweet in a main meal. We will continue coming back here for a long time to come.
