Now I am not really the sporty type and the only other time I have been in Anaconda was when I was buying my dad some goods for christmas. He is a tri-athlete takes part in every sporting event going. Other than that though I haven’t really been here before. So this review is based solely on my last visit here. I am going camping at the beginning of February and I have never been before and to be honest it doesn’t sound like my idea of fun. I hate bugs and am a mosquito target. I told this to the oh so helpful young man who was more than happy to help me. He went through almost every tent and explained the differences and why some are more, without being to obvious he explained them all really well. I picked a medium priced one as he assured me as long as I zip it up as soon as I go out and in I should have no bug issues. It has a extra fly screen. I am really hoping he is right.

Anaconda is a large outdoor gear shop that houses all your outdoor needs — from fishing gear and kayaks, to tents, sleeping gear, backpacks, lights and outdoor cooking utensils. With tents, Anaconda has a decent selection on the floor, from three-person dome tents to large tents for a family. They also have a good selection of backpacks and staff can help you adjust a backpack to suit your needs. In terms of sleeping gear, they have self-inflating sleeping mats and mattresses [such as the 10cm-thick sleeping mat, which is recommended if you are looking for a self-inflating air mattress]. Towards the back are the lights and cooking utensils. For the eco-conscious camper, there are rechargeable lamps for sale, as well the more traditional gas and battery options. Anaconda is a one-stop shop for all things outdoors. The prices are competitive, and if you join up for a membership card [which is free], then that entitles you to specials and cheaper deals.
