Great little fish and chips shop if you want good fish and chips but don’t want to pay the exorbitant prices that come with most touristy Freo fish and chips shops at the wharf. Great flaky fish and standard chips, this place is a gem. They also have great pickled onions in brown vinegar that are divine and really help cut through the richness.

Chips overcooked and skimped on the salt/vinegar, grilled fish ok but dry. Better options around.

In an area that is becoming a bit spoilt for choice, this is a more than decent fish and chip shop. I veer between favouring this place and Taaj To Go on Carrington Street; I tend to find the fish are a bit cheaper here, but that you get a bit more in the way of chips at Taaj. Since the food is much of a muchness, I guess it depends how many chips you think you can eat, or if you’d rather get a whole pile of fish. At the moment I’m going here, but that will probably change next week.
