If you’re looking for a good pub meal then you won’t be disappointed by The Royal. They have an extensive pub menu which has everything from pizza to a delicious looking parmy. There are constant drink specials and there’s something on every day of the week, from trivia nights to specials for uni students, pool tables, game machines, televisions broadcasting whatever sport game is on and a nice upstairs section.
It’s a great place to meet up with friends, have an inexpensive drink and meal and just hang out.

Apparently this place is a hotel. But I think it’s known for it’s steak and cheap awesome pub meals more than anything.
The royal is the best pub with the best steak ever. For $ 9 you get a well cooked steak, mash or chips and salad or veg, with sauce. It is the only place in Sydney which has cheap steak and allows you to do mash and salad on the same place. $ 9? Yes $ 9! No strings attached to buy a drink or anything!
All the other meals are also very tasty, large and inexpensive. Staff are always friendly and the ambiance is comfortable.

The Royal ain’t a pub, its a destination.
Had a meeting here the other day and man, this place is a Disneyland for eaters, drinkers and hanger-​outers. There’s amazingly cheap food deals (um, including a $ 9 steak all day every day: WIN), an extensive pub grub menu that includes Cheevy Chips (French fries slathered with melted cheese and gravy), tonnes of drink specials including $ 9 jugs of Boags, New or 5 Seeds Cider all day every day (say whaaaaaaaaaat!), pinball machine, pool tables, a function room upstairs that’s less like a function room and more like a relaxing sanctuary with greenery and tonnes natural light, accommodation upstairs and even something called the Parmy Army. I’ll let you guess what that is.
You probably didn’t believe me when I said it was like Disneyland.
