Not the best café on the crows nest strip now that its been taken over and had its name change from coffee cultur, but still has a good wifi connection and decent coffee.

Coffee Culture scores points from me for a number of things. I love that the place is spacious — the tables are spread out so you don’t feel like you’re talking over people beside you. There are also plenty of wall couches to rest your booty(my preference is red but the silvery bronze is ok too). Coffee Culture only serve their coffees in big orange cups. I always request my mocha to be served in a mug or cup as it goes cold quicker in glass plus it’s more pleasant to drink from. I am particular with my coffee and if it’s not extra hot it doesn’t quite cut the mustard. Unfortunately they missed the mark here for me. I have been told before by baristas that you have to be careful with overheating soy milk but this really wasn’t hot. Disappointing especially because I was very clear with my request. I think the brand of soy they used may have also made a difference as it was a little watery. The food looks fresh enough. I didn’t order lunch as the only gluten free options they had were the giant cookies. They do have sandwiches, cakes and the usual array of café style snacks. There is an outdoor area near the road by the green hedge blocks the passing cars out for the most part. Bar stools in front of a big mirror and beside a magazine selection are also available. Music selection is a bit loud and poppy for more liking. WiFi is available — 1 hour for each drink purchased.
