Very friendly staff with a relaxed atmosphere, and less than a 1 minute walk from my home, bonus! Open 7 days for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks which makes it something more than just your local café. The food and coffee hit the spot, in particular their bacon and egg roll and pancakes (how can you go wrong)?!
The menu isn’t very large which means less time for deliberating and getting on with the meal — much easier for someone as indecisive as me. You have the choice to sit either inside or out on the footpath if it’s a nice day and there is usually a puppy or 2 hanging around to make this spot even better.

Couldn’t try their food simply because no one paid attention to my presence. 15 minutes sitting at the front table of the café. Only few ppl inside so not busy at all. All of that made me think that I’m not welcome there.

I find this place hard to review. The food was great. I had a really nice pulled pork roll which had a beautifully balanced palate of flavours. Tim (the owner? Manager? Certainly seemed to be running the joint) is ex-Catalina’s, and some of the staff came with him. They know how to make food!
I’ve got this thing about cafes in Sydney though — they often get the atmosphere so wrong. I’m not really sure what they were going for here…
However, the food is good (really good from my limited experience — I’ve only experienced break key and lunch), the coffee is good. They seem to have a nice drinks list. I’ll be back. Reckon I’d like to try dinner here…
