Lived in Coogee used to be a fab second hand clothing store so I was very sad to see the infamous ‘Bobby Dazzler’ leave our shores. Then, I was going for a run one day and a new addition to the small cluster of shops on Arden St literally stopped me in my tracks. It was a massive cane armchair that did it, actually. It had a beautifully sewed cream cushion on the seat and it screamed luxury.
Exercise over, time to browse.
There are really gorgeous homewares here and interesting finds. Interior Stylist, Vanessa Kidwell has created a modern treasure chest with many goods from around the world. Earthy tones and textures will inspire you to go rustic with it. Bold colours will make you wonder why you haven’t added a splash before. Indian goblets and Moroccan bowls. Artistic ways to display a flower in a vase. Tea towels, jewellery, handcrafted leather purses. Stationary, Bath products, Throws.
Whatever you choose from here, it will be a precious gift to admire forever.
