I love these kind of vineyards. They are your massive multi million dollar wineries that you feel you need a suit and tie to fit the part. These guys are a laid back smaller winery. Very professional service, but very catered to your individual group. We were taken on a FREE wine tasting and all wines explained to us, given run down on the seasons and the kinds of wine they produce. Some award winning wines here, The cab melot was divine and my favorite. Make sure to check this place out, it is worth the visit.

St Huberts is one of my favourite vineyards in the area; it is very well situated close to dairies and other wineries. Their selection of wines for tasting(and buying, definitely buying) is not huge, but their selection is all fantastic. When I went their, their award winning Pinot Noir was available and well worth trying. The offering was a selection of sparkling, dry white, and various red wines. The staff are very knowledgeable on how to serve their wines, and are also up-to-date on what other wines are available in the area(in case they can’t help you). Once you’ve finished tasting, they also have a selection of foods you can try. If its a nice day, I’d suggest taking a blanket and sitting in the grassy area near the shop.

St Hubert’s was just what I was looking for on a sunny summer day! Don’t fuss with a big beautiful warehouse. If winemaking is dirty and hidden, leave me out of it. They have a great patio, with some HUGE shade trees and a grand lawn. The staff is SO friendly and knowledgeable. Our wine-server was the sweetest lady, and joked with us while teaching about their different wines. They even have a little café so you can grab a coffee(or a kiddie latte for the little ones). The field out back is wonderful; bring a blanket and laze in the sun for a while or run around and waste some extra energy(or tire out the kiddies haha). It’s just straightforward winemaking and enjoying. Fantastic! Favorites: the Roussanne(almost like a Chard-Sémillon blend), the Stag Pinot Noir(just a delicious, light berry red)
