tl;dr Well lit, well spaced, well ventilated(on the cold night I went) and pleasant demeanour as any other exhibition venue. NG Gallery presents an intimate blank canvas for hosting an exhibition. The event I attended at the Gallery hosted about 50 – 60 people in a cocktail-seating(that is, standing!) arrangement with enough room to move about and breathe. The entrance to the Gallery is just off Abercrombie in a non-assuming side street. Entering via the downstairs restaurant, the open staircase to the first floor venue does allow the restaurant hustle to travel upstairs. Otherwise, the venue is well spaced, well ventilated and well lit. Providing a comfortable size to showcase a medium length collection, this hole-in-the-wall venue could possibly double for a recital or event space in what appears to be a refurbished church.
