I was recommended this place by a friend who lives near by. Was shocked by how good this place was considering it was in the middle of a sleepy suburban back street. We just had coffees today and they were very good, not sure what coffee they use. The service was very friendly and they were very quick at getting the coffees made. The place had a really nice local vibe to it. All of the regulars congregated in groups chatting and laugh with the staff and people walking past even stopped in to say hello. They have simple furniture that is all mismatched, so it added to the welcoming atmosphere. We wished we lived in the neighbourhood! We will be back again for coffee and to try out somebody the cakes as they had a good range of gluten free stuff.

Finally a little local coffee shop that isn’t a big name brand! And it’s in my neighbourhood! Recently opened by Renata, Ainsdale St Espresso has moved in where the sorely missed Thai restaurant used to be. (Renata knows this and she realizes that they are missed.) Soon they’ll have a kitchen cooking fresh tasty treats to compliment the great coffee and conversation. If you’re looking for something new, ask about the cold pressed coffee. It’s something they’re working on and having been privy to an early taste test, I can recommend it for a nice cold, refreshing alternative on a hot summer afternoon.
