Great coffee! They currently do a large takeaway coffee for $ 3.50. Staff are always very friendly and attentive. Haven’t tried the food but they seem to have a nice selection.

One of my favourite local eateries! The food servings are large portioned & delicious. You alway guaranteed great customer service by friend staff. I’d recommend BYO, their wine list is limited & that’s the only fault. It’s always crowded so make a booking.

Had a catch up here this morning with friends, I had the long mac & was great, busy mid morning crowd and had a short wait, plenty of friendly staff on hand. Food looked yum coming out. Good car park over the road and also on Archer St.

Love this little place. Great food and the staff are extra friendly, price isn’t to bad seeing it is an Italian restaurant. They have just recently expanded… Must be a good thing. Would definitely recommend if you are ever near by.

Great value, and quite the range on the menu. I had bruschetta, pizza, and the house special — the bella rosa. All shared. All quite good. BYO as well, which probably didnt help. Down the street from a liquor store. A great night with good company. Service was good and food was brought out rapidly.

This is a popular restaurant and regularly visited by locals. Have eaten here for dinner on a number of occasions and never had a bad meal. The lady that runs the place is great, doesn’t forget a face. It’s byo as well which makes it a reasonable priced place to eat out and also why it can get a bit noisy in the weekend evenings

Reading all the good reviews on this place, I’d have to disagree. I came here on Sunday for lunch and ordered the conchiglie pasta which came with two prawns…(wow how very generous of you) scallops which looked and tasted like plastic rubber and the pasta was sitting in a pool of watery sauce. The pasta itself was even a tad hard still, it wasn’t cooked al dente. Even come dessert the cannoli’s pastry which is meant to be thin and crispy was thick and chewy and didn’t taste fresh at all. There were only about three other tables eating lunch so there wasn’t much atmosphere, the staff however were very friendly and attentive so I can’t fault that aspect of my outing.

My parents have recently moved near this fantastic café so we have become regular costumers. The staff and Owner are extremely friendly and the restaurant is decorated like a little Italian café with outside seating as well for the warmer weather. I personally love the classic margherita pizza, the carbonara pasta and the chicken caesar salad. And to finish it all off, they always have a delicious assortment of fresh cakes and ice cream for desert. MMMMhmmmm!

So bad that I’m putting NO effort into writing this review. Here are a few dot points: Sticky tables. Sat next to the toilets where you could smell the rancid odour emanating from inside. Young waitress seemed unable to carry two plates and managed to spill half the sauce on the floor. Didn’t apologise. Puddle of sauce wasn’t cleaned up. Spill happened at the start of the meal and was still there when we left. Ordered a $ 30 steak medium rare. Got a pathetic excuse for meat served next to dry chips and a limp salad drowned in some horrid salad dressing that was reminiscent to Heinz italian salad dressing. The meat was seared on the outside(burnt in some parts) and bloody on the inside. The seared side was comparable to eating rubber. I got a filthy look and rude back-chatter from the cashier who didn’t like my answer to her usual«how was your meal» question. If you ask someone that, don’t treat your customers like scum when they answer ‘it was the worst meal I’ve ever had’. We had to continually move when people needed to get to the toilet. Loud. Oh so very loud. Uncomfortable seats. Café Bella Rosa is simply one of those tired, old, uninspired restaurants that bogans mistake for five star dining. I would much rather gargle concrete than eat here again.

We came here on a Friday night for a family dinner with friends and the place was absolutely packed. Our meals came out very quickly and they were able to accomodate for gluten free options easily. The food is nothing special but with the very reasonable prices and BYO license who can complain. I had the marinated chicken on gourmet salad — the serving was enormous, even my ridiculous appetite struggled to finish it all. Other guests at our table had steak, some pasta dishes and the chicken scaloppini. Although the cuts of meat weren’t high quality, you get what you pay for. For the price all in all it was reasonable.

Seats are uncomfortable, bruschetta was burnt to a crisp and tasted bland. Main meals were very large which was good but no one was impressed with the food! I have been here twice over lengthy periods with different people and both times I have been discusted. BYO and large serves are a plus, quality of food and seats get the thumbs down. I would not recommend eating here.

After travelling through Italy for almost a month, it is safe to say I feel in love with the foods and their amazing restaurants. The portions are always huge, the food is rich and delicious and the prices are reasonable. This restaurant is as close to a true Italian restaurant as you can get without walking along the canals in Venice. It is little and quaint but boy does it pack a punch. Full of jolly folk eating massive portions, of some of the most delicious Italian food this City has to offer. This one is a big yes.

This popular Italian restaurant is reminiscent of the meals Arty Bucco served up to Tony and Carm Soprano over the years. Their commitment to creating authentic Italian cuisine is applaudable and the portions sizes leave very few hungry. Hands down my favourite item on the menu is the carbonara. This rich, creamy pasta number is as smooth as Frank Sinatra. The restaurant has a great upbeat feel and is generally a buzz with activity. On one occasion we had to wait around 10 minutes for a table but on the whole the service is great. The clientele who frequent Bella Rosa appreciate cheap and cheerful Italian cuisine done properly. You will often see old Italian couples enjoying some traditional dishes that take them back to the old country. Get down and enjoy some authentic treats along with some old fashioned hospitality.

Anyone who doesn’t have Italian roots or has never been to Italy is usually quick to criticise Italian restarants that cram too many tables into their(usually small) venue and don’t put any sound absorbing furnishings on the walls. That is how Italian restaurants are supposed to be! They should be crowded, hot, noise with chatter and packed to the rafters with happy eaters, and that is how things roll at Bella Rosa! The atmosphere in here is vibrant, the food amazing, AND it’s reasonable too! It hits the trifecta! It’s always busy — no better sign of a worthwhile place to trade your sheckles for food. The one and only negative thing I will say is that the service can come across a bit pushy. No sooner have you opened the menu than you’re being asked for your final decision, and the waiters will try to take your plate away before you’ve even finished eating. But all in all a tremendous place to eat.
