Toscani’s

My friend and I had just finished working out at the gym and were up for a feed at carindale but didn’t know where to go apart from the food court with all the 12 year olds and friends hanging around there so we just happened to walk past toscani’s and thought we should try it out. When we arrived we were greeted by a waiter who took us to our tables and gave us the menu’s.
They have an extensive list of both food and beverages to choose from and the best thing that i like about Toscani’s is that its all table service instead of you going up to the counter and ordering your meal from there like a lot of similar type of places.
Probably the only negative is that because its located in a busy shopping centre, there is a lot of noise going on and that may turn some people off but as a regular who shops at Carindale, I don’t have a particular problem with that but others might. Overall I enjoyed my experience here and I would definitely return again.

As a whole Tosani’s isn’t the kind of place I wouldn’t go to on a regular basis, the food and drink selection is quite extensive and they do have an alcohol license, but it just seemed a bit loud and out of place in the middle of a shopping hub.
Service was pretty good, and there sure was a lot of floor staff, the manager was very friendly.
Overall a fairly standard Italian affair with lots of seating, table service, and an alcohol license. Prices are high for a shopping centre, and it’s really loud.

My wife and I tried this restaurant for lunch (newly opened in the next stage of the Carindale Shopping Complex). We both had the «Fish of The Day». Fish was barramundi grilled in a tangy lemon sauce. The fish was absolutely beautiful. It was served with steak fries and fresh salad. Overall, we were very impressed with the quality of food and beverage served. The service was also efficient.
However, I can’t award five stars for two reasons. Water glasses delivered to our table were covered with distinctive dried water marks and the cutlery had dried water marks and smudgy fingerprints over the full length. I’m hoping this was only due to teething problems (open less than a week) as we would definitely return again based on the food quality.
