At beans

After a walk to the shops to do some shopping and exercise we decided to grab a refreshment from @bean. Being a hot day we passed the Campos coffee and opted for frappé’s instead. I had the latte and my partner had the lime… It was a bad choice. The latte frappé was weak coffee and what seemed like a litre of cream. The lime could only be described at a semi melded green zooper dooper. It was 100% artifical flavours and colours… If u must attend stick to the coffee.

I had a long black coffee. Service was friendly enough. Coffee was fairly bland, but at least tasted like coffee. I didn’t eat.

We come to this plaza for Bunnings and if the time is right we need food. Today is the first time we tried this place and weren’t disappointed. Prompt service and they got our order right (may seem petty but it really means the world to me to not have to clarify three times what we want, and then to actually get the right item served, particularly when it is straight off their menu with no changes at all). The whole place was spick and span, also a big plus for me. Proper wipe downs after each guest, not just sweeping crumbs off with a used napkin. Campos coffee. Not a huge range of cakes, but the mains are attractive and well presented. They have french toast which I didn’t opt for today. Loyalty card gives the ninth coffee free. The big wall mount of Venice canals is romantic. They have bench seating of sixes, tables to fit fours and twos, window lounge seating, and a wall side lounge too when you could pull together a few of the small tables if you have a big group. A few tables out in the shopping entire hallway affords easy access to those who have a pram or did a big shop. Outside facing the car park also has a few tables but is quite noisy of course. It’s pretty loud, a combination of through traffic as it is right next to the centre’s sliding doors, car park… but this place has made me feel a lot more satisfied than a lot of places I have been, both generic and upmarket, in the last month. well done beans crew.
