Crusty Devil Bakehouse purports to be an old fashion bakery with Australian favourites such as lamingtons, cream buns, custard tarts and pies. The breads and pastries are all made on site which guarantees freshness but to be honest, I can’t taste much difference between this bakery and a Brumbies or a Baker’s Delight chain.
When I was working at Cannon Hill Plaza, it was handy to have a fresh bakery to buy morning and afternoon tea for the staff but when it comes to baked goods I’m a French patisserie girl at heart so I won’t be going out of my way to come here.
