History

Established in 2005.

We commenced trading on 1 July 2005. Since then the business has grown from one warehouse to three. We have opened an espresso bar and shop selling our range of coffee, tea and drinking chocolate as well as coffee and tea accessories.

Primarily we are a wholesale business distributing our products Australia wide and also to Japan and North America.

With over 28 years in the hospitality industry and 23 years in the coffee industry both as a roaster and as a frontline barista in his own cafes David Kennedy knows what it takes to produce a great cup of coffee. From selecting the right green beans, knowing how far to roast those beans and how to blend the right combinations of beans, right through to the grinding, dosing and extraction process necessary to make that perfect cup.

The decision to harness this knowledge and experience has resulted in the creation of a unique Coffee Brand — Bun Coffee.

Bun Coffee specialises in unique coffees as we wish to differentiate ourselves from our competitors not just in the quality and freshness of our product but by the fact that by purchasing Rain Forest Alliance, Organic and local coffee’s we are helping the people and environments to whom we are indebted for this wonderful crop.
