Honestly, this place is such a gem. I’ve been enjoying coffee and breakfast here for almost two years without a disappointing visit. The coffee is always perfect, the food is thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, but what keeps me coming back is the staff. No matter how brief my trip to Melbourne. I always make a point of visiting Lucy.

Great menu, great vibe and great staff! Highly recommend checking this little place out — it does get a little busy but as long as you have time to spare it’s a fantastic place for a lazy brunch.

Totally convenient for us, but be prepared to wait a little, and care a little less. These guys are taking it easy, which is fine.

Let me begin by saying that this place is absolutely lovely. There are a number of reasons to as to why I think so.
First of all the food is so good, I’ve tried most things on the menu and nothing has so far left me dissatisfied. In particular the mango, avocado and salmon salad and the slow cooked lamb salad which both are always made to perfection and both look amd taste fresh. (Unlike it’s former predecessor, Red Scooter, which has horrific.)
The coffee is on par with most great places out there but it is really the food that makes this place so great.
The service is always reliable. Staff is very friendly and enthusiastic and I never have to wait too lomg for food or drinks, unlike many other busy places in the area.
One of my new favorite local hangouts in the Brunswick area!
