The shop runs through like a tunnel. Coming in from a busy Brunswick Rd one can see the light at the end of the tunnel that is the donation area out the back. Between here and there is jam packed and ordered all manner of goods. Clothes, books, furniture, music and every other nick-​nack you can think of.
The mix playing is either top 40 or old 40s classics, which works in a very strange way. I suppose it’s to complement the goods, some of which have been labelled Fashionable or Vintage an priced accordingly. Much better to pick through for a bargain yourself. I have a strange affiliation with old CDs and tragic record covers, so for me this place is a winner every time.
The furniture out the back includes some pretty heavy duty pieces, so on most occasions this place is worth a look.
