History

Established in 2014.

Crust Borek Bakery

As humans we all have childhood memories that we never forget.

I was missing the bakery products that my mom was cooking us after

I migrated to Australia so much that I started investigating the role of

them in nutrition. As part of this research I worked voluntarily at

Akman and Park Cake Shops in Ankara during my visits to Turkey

without pay.

When I came back to Australia in 1997, I wanted to share my knowledge

and experience in that field to promote Turkish bakery products here

and I commenced Oz Filo business in Melbourne (Coburg).

I supplied my bakery products to some Café Shops, Restaurants, Deli Shops

and IGA Supermarkets for 10 years. I sold Oz Filo business in 2007 before

a longer trip to Turkey.

I have now opened Crust Borek Bakery business in Broadmeadows to

produce and market our extended bakery products at retail, wholesale and

catering channels.

Our products include: Su Borek, Kol Borek, Gul Borek, Gozleme,

Katmer Bread, Baklava and Coffee.
