I wasn’t so sure how relaxing it could be getting a quickie massage in full view of other clients in the middle of a shopping mall. That was until a few weeks ago when I was that darn sore in my back and shoulders I couldn’t resist the temptation for a 15 minute shoulder and neck rub for the bargain price of $ 15 from SENS. I thought it might offer a bit of relief at least, and couldn’t hurt at worst. And in all honesty I am surprised at how good, relieving and relaxing it felt at the time and how much better I’ve felt ever since. It’s the sort of relief I thought couldn’t be felt unless I was paying over $ 100 and taking one hour out of my already over scheduled life.
The Zen like setting of the small centre creates a surreal sort of ambiance and even with the outside noise and clients seated next to me, the skill and magic of hands of my therapist drew goose bumps. I could literally feel the blood start pumping in places of my body that had been tensed up and unused for far too long.
