It’s a quite nice little sushi bar to grab a quick bite. Not my favourite was a little disappointed in the quality of the food and I asked for chicken and half was hot and then half freezing cold. The staff were friendly and inviting but most likely won’t be back.

I like Sushi Delight quite a lot. I come here often enough and every time has been a good experience. I like this place for obvious reasons. It is a fast and convenient place to get lunch(or after work delight!), the attractive and modern layout really draws you in and the sushi’s… Well they’re just a treat! At the front of Sushi Delight they have a take-away counter if you are really in a rush or alternatively, you can take a seat by the sushi train and pick from the moving carriage. Sure, their offerings don’t differ too much from their competitors, but sometimes, you do just want to eat something you recognise instead of umm-ing and ahh-ring whether this interesting unknown sushi before you would suffice. Thankfully, as I mentioned, you won’t need to question their sushi’s because you’ve seen them all before. Remember, this place does service people who want to quickly eat, not sit there and meticulously taste test the food. So, in my opinion, I think they are just great.

Sushi Delight is just your run of the mill sushi train restaurant, but if you would like to grab something quick to eat in the Myer centre and wish to escape the food court, it is a descent option. Like all sushi train restaurants, eating here can get more expensive than grabbing a meal at the food court. Even on my most tight-ass days when I only pick out the cheap dishes, I will end up spending at least $ 10 here, if you want to eat some of the fancier dishes; expect to spend more. The sushis here are pretty nice, but are not the best sushis I have ever had. One good thing about this place is the staff seem to be on the ball, you will be seated promptly and the waitresses are often walking around if you need their attention at any time. This isn’t much to ask but I have been to sushi trains where the service has been lacklustre. Sushi Delight may not be a sushi train with anything super special to offer(but how many sushi trains do) but at least it is in good location and offers pleasant service.

It is hard not to like a sushi bar. Just the fact that they tempt you with delectable delights on tiny little places parading in front of you til you see something hat really appeals and grab it hastily from the track makes me like them. That said, Sushi Delight is OK by my standards. I became quite a regular here when I used to work in the CBD. They are never too busy but you will always see at least a few people in the there at any point in the day and the chefs are constantly working. They also have take away sushi rolls available fro the front counter if you are in a rush. I much prefer to take a seat and relax and slowly decided, after about one or two turns of the track, what I want to eat. They have some nice sashimi and will make it fresh to your request if you prefer to order off the menu. Its not the best sushi around but on average pretty ok. The staff here are friendly. Being a regular I would often have a chat with the chef as he worked away, slicing, dicing and rolling.
