A very well kept, local secret! Charm Sushi not only has a bottle shop in back but serves delicious Japanese meals and sushi dishes at affordable prices(both to eat in and takeaway). Their Chicken Curry is by far my favourite but the Teriyaki Salmon is pretty damn good as well! The staff are friendly, the location is central and the service is quick PLUS the food is great! Definitely hit this place up if you love Sushi and booze!

If I could I would give this place ten stars !, as chris states below this concept is fantastic… you dont have to eat the food on offer you can just go to the liquor store at the back buy your drink and and sit inside or out and enjoy. Its not an amazingly big space outside and you do have to be seated on the actually pavement but just outside the place you can stand… The guys are there with bottle openers you can buy cups for your wine…, now dont go expecting a plush place it is not but I loved sirting our on warm nights chatting with our friends and yeeee you have to get something from the sushi part as well alcarol’ makes me peckish… go charm sushi !,

Charm Sushi has the best business concept in Brisbane! A bottle shop inside of a Japanese/Korean restaurant! You can drink your 6 pack while nomming on a curry or spicy sweet chilli chicken with your mates. I’ve been here twice now, the first time I came and unashamedly got completely plastered after class by around 7:00pm lmao. Today was my second time and it was our last stop on what turned out to be a 7 hour day of eating and drinking away the sorrows of losing a friend for two years. We were all pretty down about the imminent goodbye that was going to take place, but then we hear an extremely loud Korean voice shouting out a number, that number was 247 — today, 247 was more than just a number. It was the key to our box of Sweet Chilli Chicken, a ray of sunshine on what was a sad moment, a diamond in the rough. The chicken was pretty good and as always the beer was too. We all still went home and cried in the foetal position for hours anyway.

How did this place not even have a listing? It’s a sushi place on Albert Street, and it’s always busy. Why? Well, I paid $ 7.90 for karaage with rice that I couldn’t finish. Admittedly it was more a lot of rice than a lot of chicken, but even so. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and I imagine the outdoor is popular in summer at night, although you do have smokers from the pub right next door puffing over your food. The real reason this place is popular? There’s a bottle shop(which appears to be open to a reasonable hour) out the back. Squeeze your way down the very end and there’s small bottle shop with a respectable range. And you can buy your drinks and drink them on premises. So yes, that’s $ 3.80 for the cider, not $ 12 you’ll pay at the pub. I even saw people with a bottle of bourbon and a couple plastic cups.
