History

Established in 2001.

Driving School Principal, Glenn Valentine became a Driving Instructor in 2001. After working for another School for 5 years, Glenn then launched Roadworks Driver Training in 2006. In 2011, wife Irene, joined the company as an Instructor, after 30 odd years as a Secondary School Teacher. She brings a wealth of teaching experience and student management skills to the Driving School. Glenn instructs in the automatic car, while Irene is in the manual. Both cars are the stylish Honda jazz, which has ample internal space while still being small enough to manœuvre.

As well as providing QUALITY lessons on the Southside of Brisbane the business has now moved into the retail sale of driving related products. Mirrors, L and P plates of various kinds can be purchased on the company website.

The Driving School caters for learners, overseas licence conversions, upgrades to a manual licence and refresher lessons for mature and motivated drivers.

Has been a Driving Instructor for over ten years. Enjoys watching Queensland wipe the floor with NSW jerseys and the Broncos winning another Premiership.

Also enjoys surfing on McTavish longboard at Palm Beach when time and surf conditions are available.

Also enjoys pastel painting, having had several pieces displayed around Brisbane Galleries.
