I love Grill’d but I don’t think I really like the design of this store. Don’t get me wrong it’s beautiful but it is nowhere near as as spacious as the Grill’d in the Emporium. Lots of seats very close to each other. The service was friendly, the food delicious and the service was quick but I don’t like eating that close to other people. One time I went in and it was so busy I decided not to stay to eat. It being busy is so a testament to Grill’d’s business model. I will be back but only to eat at more spacious Grill’d restaurants. Perhaps if I got a booth next time and I found it not to loud I will add 1 more star.

This place has some amazing burgers! I tried out their Lamb Burger and let me tell ya that it didn’t disappoint. I’m usually picky with my Lamb since places usually don’t cook it right but this time around I was able to enjoy it as it should be. I paired mine with a nice blonde pint and some sweet potato fries then I was done. I was full for the sake of being full but I was also satisfied. It fulfilled a craving and the senses with the way they prepared their burgers.

I love the Big Queenslander! That is all… Also I like the fact that there’s alcohol available as well as the soft drinks that are also available! it’s a pretty cute setting.

Great food, friendly staff and reasonable prices, what’s not to like. I do wish they offered free WiFi but that’s a minor issue. Had my burger with the low car«Superbun», which I really enjoyed.

I love the burgers here. Very yummy indeed. The sweet potatoe fries are delicious. I tried the panini bread option once and they burnt the crust, yet still served it. That aside, the burgers do taste good and I would go back for the food. The service could do with a little improvement though.

They forgot part of my order and felt that giving me chips dipped in hot oil would be a suitable replacement. I’m happy to wait for you to cook what you forgot, but unhappy that apparently the meals are«cook your own» Soggy, oily, cold herbed chips. Burger was OK though, do thanks for that!

I’m generally pretty down with Grill’d franchises and food, but everytime I’ve been there in the last 6 months they’ve messed up my burger somehow(ingredients on it I didn’t ask for, dirty chunks of grill-charcoal all over the place, undercooked chicken one time), and the other day I saw a cockroach crawling around my table and a few more on the ground when I was leaving. Also I really hate the way you have to be seated first and then place your order. It’s annoying for a number of reasons. If you are going to seat someone first, provide table service. Or let them order first, and don’t provide table service. Don’t just do it halfway because of misplaced pretentiousness. So yeah. Not good, guys. You need to pick up your game, bigtime.

Has a very fancy atmosphere to it; you are seated as soon as you walk in but have to get up to order at the counter and look at the menu boards which is very odd. Table service is provided after you order and I found the booths most private and comfortable. Burgers are tasty and chips the best I’ve had in Brisbane. Staff are friendly and there is a bar. Great value for money and a modern, cosy vibe. Would definitely eat here again.

I love Grill’d for their sliders! Served as selection of two or three at a time means you don’t need to settle on just one of the delicious options. My favourite is the beef slider with pomegranate & wasabi slaw, the combination of spicy and sour works fabulous with the juicy beec I find. Second on my list is the chicken slider with Asian slaw, coriander, mint and roasted peanuts for its fresh flavours. Just the peanuts are a but too subtle to make this slider standout as much as the first. If I’m up for more than a snack, I usually add the classic beef slider with cheese, mustard and pickle to get a more traditional burger taste into the mix. The ciabatta buns have a lovely crunchy crust, and small enough size that, together with the little pins that keep everything in place, prevent the mess eating a normal sized burger can be.

On my vacation to Australia we ate at Grill’d as we were walking around downtown Brisbane. We loved it so much, we came back the next day to eat here again! There are tons of options of burgers. And, I don’t eat beef burger meat, and there was also tons of options for me! Veggie burger, black bean burger, portobello, lamb, pork, plenty of options besides beef. I had the veggie burger and it was so huge and delicious! Thick slice of beet on it, and a delicious herb mayo. My boyfriend had the Sunshine burger with a huge slice of avacado on it, and he also loved it. We came back for the sliders the next day, which weren’t as good, but just OK. Stick to the burgers and thick cut chips and you’ll be happy! Dine in or take-away.

Interesting that you have to wait to be seated, then order yourself from the counter! This falls short of a service standard in Melbourne. Keep an eye out for bewildered looking staff who are trying to find homes for the many misplaced burgers that seem to get lost here! Despite this, the ciders are cold, the live music is good and the burgers are delicious, so not a bad review here!

Where else can you grab burgers, beers, and then play a mean game of ping pong on a Thursday night?! Well, Grill’d Wintergarden is where you can! Recently launched, Ping Pong After Hours is such a fabulous way to make your dining experience even more fun, practice and improve your ping pong skills, and definitely doesn’t hurt to work off a few chips you just consumed. When we first arrived, we were promptly greeted and seated near the ping pong tables. My friend and I enjoyed two recommended burgers by our waiter, Sam. We had the Hot Hombre and the Goats Cheese and Hummus Lamb Burger with regular chips. We also tried out the three dips: herbed mayo, chill mayo, and tomato relish sweet. Tomato relish sweet took the cake. I really liked it and just wanted more. I’m a huge condiment person. To wash down the delicious burgers, we tried the Little Creatures on tap which my friend said was excellent. It’s important to note that he isn’t the biggest fan of Australian beers. Then, I had the Rekorderlig Strawberry and Lime slushy and boy was it INCREDIBLE!!! If you haven’t tried it yet, please treat yourself next time you go. I loved it so much! It was pink with a lime slice to add some pop. I am a big fan of Rekorderlig and having it in slushy form– yes please! They change up the flavors so I can’t wait to try another one next time. After a great meal, we were ready to play some ping pong. There are two tables set up and both were occupied with players. We patiently waited until one finished up and then we were up. I really liked how everyone was friendly and would be considerate if other people entered the room and wanted to play. It was relaxed and everyone who wanted to play, definitely could without a huge wait. To keep you entertained while waiting to show off your skills(or lack there of in my case), live music also made the night really fun and pass the time quickly. We planned to just play a few games and before we knew it, it was getting pretty late! All in all, a fabulous night and I would definitely come back for burgers and to play more ping pong. Great to know there’s a place we can go in the city to get our eat and exercise on! Thanks Grill’d for starting such a great initiative. I’ve already had a few friends ask me about it and I can’t wait to send them your way!

Here’s the thing. I don’t like Grill’d. But i’ll try not to let that effect my rating. So some workmates were going to Grill’d after work. I wasn’t working, but I got a phone call asking if I was going to come, so I hopped in the car and drove in to Southbank. Nabbed a nifty park just around the corner. Perfect! So apparently rather than go to the Grill’d near work, they went over to Wintergarden. If only someone had told me BEFORE I was standing outside the Southbank store asking where everyone was. Anyhow. The Wintergarden store is a bit swanky for a Grill’d. It’s up near Strike, and it’s a lot bigger than the Southbank venue. It actually looks quite nice. That said, good luck trying to get served at the counter. The food is horrendously overpriced. You can(or at least I can) get a much better burger for half the price at the local fish n chip shop. They’re a pepsi place too, which is never a good thing. But overall, if you’re a fan of crappy overpriced burgers, this is the spot for you.

I’m a big fan of Grill’d because really, who doesn’t enjoy a good gourmet burger? Better yet, have the ability to choose the type of bun it comes in! And those chips, those chips are something else. My personal favourite is the Crispy Bacon and Cheese Beef Burger with the zesty mayo, it will set you back $ 11.50(kicks the coffee clubs behind) which isn’t that much at all and it will fill you up. The wait isn’t generally very long in the Wintergarden, possibly 10 minutes when they’re busy but these guys know what they’re doing. Will definetely be back to try the Queenslander one, and I hear the chicken burgers are nice too.

Grill’d is one of AUS’ staple, classic restaurants. I love my burgers and chips, so I was so glad to have discovered this place. This company is part of a chain, and there are literally everywhere throughout Australia. I really liked this location because it is situated inside the Wintergarden mall. Be warned though that it does get very busy at around weekday lunch as there are heaps of employees going out to eat; this place is definitely popular. I forget the name but I ordered the chicken burger with beetroot, and I have to say I am now addicted to adding beetroot to my burgers! The chicken wasn’t dry, and the portion size is never too small. I do wish however that chips were included with the meal or have some sort of ‘bargain deal’ if you purchased both. When getting the chips, just opt for the small as the regular really isn’t that much bigger. Another thing that always gets to me that never happens in the US is they charge for sauce. I opted for the aioli sauce, and it is just delicious.

Really really good! Big fan of Grill’d. Honestly, I’d never expect there will be a nice burger chain somewhere in wintergarden. That was a nice surprise! It’s definitely NOT a one of the fast food chains for sure. They have wide selection of burgers, if you’re fussy like me(please, no beetroot in my burgers!) you can adjust what you want to get, they will give it to you. You also have a choice of the bun type. Either the normal one, or one with sesame seed. Their fries are lovely too. Love the seasoning! You have three different dips you can choose from for them. I always get the white one… Aioli I guess? Fries are yum! You know what else they have? FULLBAR! They have my favourite QLD Hef too. Last time I’ve got an awesome koozie for my beer with my order. Yay me and koozies! I love that the design of the place is a bit more ‘funky’ than normal burger places. Like you know. Having a knife to cut your burger in a paper pocket that says: «In case of emergency, cut in half». There is PLENTY of seats, big tables, small tables, you pick one! So basically when you come there, they will give you a table, and then you go and order by the cash register. Fine with paying cash or card. No problem with splitting bills, because you go and order whatever you want! Our burgers always come very quick, no long wait so far which is awesome. Also, the staff always came over to check if the food was alright. Oh and you also can get a jug of beer, which is pretty awesome if you come over with a big group of people and want to share. Thumbs up for Grill’d!

For a hungry me and Boris, I decided that we’d try the Wintergarden Grill’d, which I’ve passed quite a few times thinking it looks nicer than the one in South Bank. Grill’d’s(that’s weird) look is novel, and varies between chains, but I especially like this one with it’s extra-large fork«chandelier» and wooden interior décor(and went a little photo happy with my iPhone). Their décor isn’t anything elaborate, but simple and novel. I like their overall presentation of both the place and the food, plus they give you an «emergency knife» for those who have hard time managing their burger… I had the Moroccan Lamb burger, which was better than one of their beef burgers that I had some time ago, and their fries were pretty good as usual. Boris had a beef burger, which looked pretty good, especially with the panini bread, rather than the traditional. Though the patties were still the«Australian burger patties» that come in «pattie-cutter» form and resemble meatloaf, the burger combinations of Grill’d’s burgers still better than a lot of places that I’ve tried. Yee, I’m not sure that meal was exactly ‘healthy’ as they advertise it, but it did leave me full for quite a while after…

This place is LOUD! The music is up way too far meaning you have to yell across the table, even though your dining campaigns are basically sitting in your lap. Yep, with the over-the-top music also comes squishy seating. I’m not kidding. Do not come here in the lunch rush! The burgers, although pricey, are quite tasty. I go from the caesar salad burger. It has fresh parmesan on it. Delicious.
