Tried this new burger type café in Sydney earlier this year, again thought I’d see if the Brisbanites can do it as good as Sydneyites, unequivocally, yes, prompt service, it’s self ordering as usual, same menu. Fantastic hot food, I enjoyed the Garden goodness veggie burger a LLB and a side of sweet potato fries. My observation is you can enjoy«Grill d health burgers» anywhere

I chose the low carb bun, and it was probably the tastiest burger I have eaten. Lots of healthy ingredients to choose from, and friendly service. It was really busy when I went, but I still didn’t have to wait very long for my burger.

First day in Brisbane and my family is looking for American food. Stumbled upon this joint as we were walking around the area. I got the chicken and brie, my parents both got the plain burger. DELICIOUS. Casual vibes with outdoor/patio seating. A bit on the pricey side.

Pretty good burger, and probably as good as it gets in Brisbane. However, after having burgers in London and the US, I can’t help feeling their burgers are a little lackluster. Perhaps it’s the whole«healthy» angle. In my opinion making a healthy burger tasty is going to be an uphill battle but Grill’d does do a good job at it. The beef just feels a bit chewy and the bun is a little too toasted for my liking. Service is fast and the price is definitely fair.

An American style burger joint all over Australia. Grill’d is interesting. I liked the burger, it was tasty. The burgers were creative and interesting and they we were easy about a no bun order. They also have great sweet potato fries. It was relatively fast and easy to get a table.

I’m obsessed with burgers. When I say burger, I mean beef mince and nothing else. Let’s not get mixed up. All other sandwiches, except for banh mi and fresh slowly smoked pork, completely fail in comparison. Seriously. Back in my school days, I must’ve eaten a cheeseburger for lunch on 90% of days. I’m pretty sure those partially soy, gray patties filled with salt and wedged between questionable buns took a few years off my life. What they serve at Grill’d is not comparable to those burgers from back in the day. Grill’d is good quality with fast service. The Queenslander is too much for me personally; I’m a burger purist. Also, for shame, I don’t like Aussie bacon. For my burgers, I like plain with cheese. It’s really good that they have wholemeal bread and don’t add sugar or artificial ingredients. That makes me feel slightly less guilty when I scarf down the delicious chips, which are covered in an incredible herb mix that tastes like sunshine on a cool day. I’ve also enjoyed the lamb and the mushroom sandwich. Really, you can’t miss at Grill’d.

For a burger joint Grill’d actually do a good chicken Caesar salad, give it try if you are looking for a lighter alternative. Grilled chicken breast, crispy trim bacon, free range egg, shaved parmesan, baby cos, Caesar dressing & croutons — $ 12.90 Of course, the best thing about Grill’d for me is the chippies! Chunky, crispy, salty with a hint of rosemary. Grab any burger you like but don’t scrimp on the chips.

After my first Taste of Brisbane Burger joints tour, Grill’d came in second place. I chose Beastie Burgers as my winner with Burger Urge coming in third place. I ordered the Big Queenslander that is lean beef, tasty cheese, crispy trim bacon, free range egg, couple of slices of beetroot with salad, relish, and herbed mayo with hot chips. The burger was HUGE! It was tasty as well but got a bit messy. I think the egg was a bit too much for me. The highlight was definitely the beetroot. I have fallen in love with beetroot since coming to Australia. The buns were fine but didn’t stand out like the Beastie ones. The hot chips had a Grill’d herb mix which was pretty tasty. It’s nice to add garlic and salt to the chips. Since there were so many burgers to choose from, I would like to go back to Grill’d and try out a chicken burger. It’s been super fun trying out all the burger joints in town and if anyone knows a secret burger joint I must try– let me know!

A traditional burger joint? I’m in! First thing’s first, I love how they’re open later at night as I’m still not used to the early closing hours of Brisbane. I came here after a Hillsong church service really just getting a snack. My friend suggested the fries as they were ‘amazing’ as she said. I took her recommendation and they were great! I really liked how there is garlic and salt on the fries as it makes them so much better. I had the garlic aioli sauce with it, and it was just okay. Word to the wise though, order the smaller one as it’s cheaper as well as it’s not that much less than the original size!

Eagle Point is lovely, but a bit of a tourist shit show. On my own tourist jaunt I landed up here and was pleasantly surprised with Grill’d Healthy Burgers. They’ve got a good selection of sandwiches at a very reasonable price for the area. I tried the Sweet Chili Chicken burger. Surprise, sweet chili means ketchup in Australia… at least I think it does. No worries, cause the burger was good and piled with veg: lettuce, tomato, carrots, onion, and beet. Turns out everybody gives you a nice hunk of red beet on your burger in Australia but this was my first and I’ll never forget it. The wife went with a vegetarian Bombay Bliss burger. I think it was chickpea with curry. Anyhow, she liked it and also liked the chips. Of the dozen or so burgers I had around Australia, these were my favorites.

Most of us have been to Grill’d(if you haven’t, you really should as they provide a fantastic alternative to McDonalds). This venue is no different really in terms of the menu or quality. The thing about this outlet is that it’s not really very good to eat in! Some Grill’d restaurants have big, airy seating areas however this one is pretty cramped. You’re much better off getting takeaway and wandering the 30 metres down to the river front. You get a much better view and as much elbow room as you need. Just remember to grab extra napkins in case of sauce emergencies.

The Crispy Bacon and Cheese Burger for $ 10.90 is the one to get. It’s my favourite, plain and simple. With the gourmet chips and tomato relish sauce, it does give you a bit of tangy flavour which compliments your burger and drink nicely. What a great location too, overlooking Eagle Street pier, overlooking the water, and lots of walkways as well, it’s a great place to sit alfresco, watch the walkers of the pier and munch on your burger. They have really nice lamb sandwiches too, my friend has had one and really loved it that one time she had it, can’t stop going on about it. With your choice of bun too, I think Grill’d has the tempo down to a tee. Fast and friendly service, chatty cool staff. Cool beer. What else do you want?

Grill’d rates highly on my list of best Burgers in Brisbane, however this Grill’d restaurant is not my favourite of the chain. It’s just in a very busy location, so it’s hard to score a table on a busy weekday lunch time without a booking. We even booked a table for a Friday lunch, and they messed up our booking and we were without a table. The waiter was really nice and we managed to scrounge together a few tables up the back as people left and managed to squish us all in. But it was a very hectic experience. Not an enjoyable, casual lunch that’s for sure. Grill’d burgers are pretty consistent between all stores, and the burgers are lean and healthy. They often have seasonal specials — burgers available for a limited time. Last winter’s Smashed Pumpkin burger($ 12.50) was fantastic! If you’re just wanting a take-away burger, the line usually moves pretty quickly. If you’re wanting to dine in, I’d suggest booking a table, or getting your friends to mind the table while you go and order for the group. Get there before 12 to ensure a seat.

For one of the best burgers in town head over to grilled, If you are in Brisbane CBD Grill’d is the perfect way to start your night out. Located on Eagle Street pear it’s the perfect place to grab a quick bite. Their range of burgers, chicken burger and steak sandwiches are made freshly to order and a dubbed as being healthy burgers. They are definitely one of the best burgers in town and I would suggest the crispy bacon and cheese burger that is served with lettuce tomato and Aoli. Their chips are perfect to go with the burgers and have a great seasoning combination of salt and rosemary. As burgers go the meals are a bit pricey with a normal meal being about 11 – 13 dollars, I would have to say however that in this case it is worth it. Another unique feature of Grill’d is that they serve beers too which is normally not seen at burger places.
