If you are not a member of one of the two Airport Lounges at The Domestic Airport this is the next best thing. It has a new name now Sirromet & a bit of a make over since my last visit(agree with other posters it is a bit clinical), I found the service good, a place to sit and work before my flight & also to enjoy a drink & watch the world go by. Highly recommend(if you like wine) to take advantage of their 2 glasses of wine with Cheese Platter for $ 20

Brisbane airport is pretty depressing, so it’s nice to grab a beer and a seat at In Bar Go while you wait for your flight to be called. Schooners are around the $ 7 mark(although they also serve pints… probably because the’re in the virgin terminal and can help drown the sorrows of the folk who’s fights get cancelled) and glasses of wine around $ 8. They also serve food, but I’ve never seen anyone eating it.

I have to admit I laughed and nodded in agreement with Rafaela’s assessment of In Bar Go being«clinical» in its vibe. That’s the perfect word to describe the décor. I’ve always felt vaguely like I’m sitting in a hospital cafeteria here, and now I realize why.(Pale army green — has that ever worked at any point in time?) Still, I’ve had a few good times here. One time in particular stands out. For a trip to Sydney, I had stand-by tickets and ended up with eight hours to kill. My companion and I trooped into the pub and asked if there were power outlets for our laptops(mine had chewed up battery power). The girl I spoke to said she didn’t know, but would find out. She eventually set us up at a table with power outlets on the nearby wall, in friendly fashion, and said it would be fine if we wanted to play video games with sound — definitely earning bonus points. Thereafter I spent a few pleasant hours mowing down horde in World of Warcraft and having drinks brought to me. The basic spirits(I had a bourbon and coke) and more ‘upmarket’ drinks(a cocktail I ordered) were of a reasonable price, which is surprising given the airport location. They were delicious and did the job, too. I was nicely drunk for the few hours I spent here, not minding that my flight would be later than I expected. Basically, business was slow-ish that day so they let us do whatever we wanted, within reason. Seven thumbs up.

Part of the fun of traveling on a plane is the fact that you can happily drink before during and after you flight. It is this reason that places like In Bar Go in the Brisbane Domestic Terminal work so well. Who doesn’t want to sit in a bar and relax with a drink to calm to flying jitters. In Bar Go is perhaps one of the more recognisable bars in the airport. There are other places to drink but most of them are attached to cafes or the like and tucked away. In Bar Go is right where you can see it, close to all the other food at the Virgin terminal. As a far as bars go In Bar Go isn’t the best. It has rather stark and bleak decour that attempts to be modern but just makes it feel clinical. The service was not the cheeriest I have experienced but they did have a nice selection of beers to choose from. I guess if you are looking for a place to partake in some alcoholic beverages before a flight, In Bar Go is OK but it does not offer much more than that.
