I have just had the worst coffee that I have had in Australia. The young man that took the order was pleasant. The barista was disinterested and unskilled. I left the coffee undrunk which wad a shame because I was really looking forward to it.

The food was terrible and the presentation of the half cooked food was just as bad as the taste. Overpriced over rated and total rip off.

If you are looking at spending too much money on a bad coffee and be served by rude staff, this is the place to go! And to make the experience even more enjoyable, the place is often dirty. If you have got time, and want to drink a good coffee, I strongly suggest that you make your way to Watermark coffe/book shop on the main course.

Giancarlo Coffee blend is one of my favourites so you an image how happy I was when catching a flight home the other day to find a Giancarlo Café right next to my departure gate. Giancarlos can be found in the area that houses gates 26 through to 36. It is nice to have a café there so that you can indulge in a coffee while still being close enough to your gate not to miss anything important. This café has coffee on one side and a bar on the other. It is the perfect spot to relax before you flight with ample seating and tables surrounding it. The service was friendly and the coffee fantastic. They also provide a range of your typical café food like sandwiches, wraps, ciabatta’s and salads to snack on if you please. I opted for jut the coffee on my last visit but the food did look appetising. There seems to be hundreds of cafes and coffee carts in the Brisbane Airport but(especially if you are travelling from gates 26 – 36) I highly recommend waiting til you reach Giancarlo’s. You won’t regret it.
