The Baths Middle Brighton is an historic landmark housing a café & bar, restaurant, gym and the eponymous Sea Baths — one of the only remaining open water caged Sea Baths in Australia! The Baths Middle Brighton offers many reasons to visit … come & discover them for yourself!

History

Established in 2008.

Built In 1881 the Middle Brighton Baths was the centre for local recreation. Due to a devastating storm in late 1934 the Middle Brighton Baths was reconstructed by prominent Victorian architects Oakley & Parkes and reopened in December 1936.

In the years since, there have been further transformations … the timber enclosure was rebuilt in 1988 and a glass and steel extension on both levels brought Middle Brighton Baths roaring into the 21st Century. 20082009 saw the beginning of a new chapter in the Middle Brighton Baths story … the restaurant, café & bar along with the gymnasium underwent significant renovations, enhancing each venue with clean lines, new interiors, equipment and a new lease of life. We acknowledge the historical importance of the past and look forward to the future!
